Nominados al Oscar 2012

Se dieron a conocer los candidatos a ganar la máxima estatuilla en el rubro cinematográfico.

Las nominaciones al Oscar 2012 se anunciaron hoy a la mañana desde el teatro Samuel Goldwyn, de Beverly Hills. Tom Sherak, presidente de la Academia de Cine, y la actriz Jennifer Lawrence enumeraron los candidatos que competirán en las distintas categorías el domingo 26 de febrero, con motivo de la celebración de la edición número 84 de los premios Oscar.

El anuncio dio cuenta de nominaciones similares a los Globo de Oro. Sin embargo, se destacan las ausencias de George Clooney como director, Leonardo Di Caprio por su actuación en J. Edgar, Ryan Gosling, por su rol protagónico en Drive y The ides of March, y éste último filme como película; teniendo en cuenta las nominaciones que sí habían recibido en los premiaciones anteriores. En su lugar, cabe subrayar las incorporaciones de Terrence Malick por la dirección de The tree of life, Gary Oldman por su trabajo actoral en Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, y Extremely loud an incredibly close como película.

Finalmente, serán nueve las producciones que competirán por el Oscar a la mejor película del año: The Descendants, Extremely loud and incredibly close, The Help, Hugo, Midnight in Paris, Moneyball, The Artist, The tree of life, War Horse.
